In addition to increasing resolutions and faster data rates, two other application-relevant directions are emerging in the industrial camera market. On the one hand, there is an increasing demand for small board-level cameras in industrial quality with the most important basic features, cost-effective designs and optimal integration options. Second, there is a growing demand for smart cameras equipped with AI-based image processing. These embedded vision devices can autonomously analyse images and provide direct results.
